8/23/2017 1 Comment The Final Countdown: Senior Year.Happy Hump Day, everyone! It's Wednesday, which means the week is half way over. Wait, pause. Did I actually just say the week is half way over? I feel like the older I get, the quicker time passes by. This Sunday, August 27, I move onto campus for one last time. During this time of year, it's packed with buying school supplies, toiletries, and applying for fall internships. Not to mention, It's nearly impossible to try to find time to pack while managing a summer job, too. Although it's busy, I truly wouldn't change the feeling of moving onto campus and reuniting with all of my college friends for the world. I am sure most college seniors can relate when I say, "I feel like I was just a freshman." The years of taking prerequisites, taking naps, and believing that senior year is so far away... Note to incoming freshmen: time flies by. Enjoy every single moment, and do well in school. Freshman grades DO matter. To tell you the truth, I'm petrified for what is to come, but I know I'm not alone. The thought of graduating, paying back loans, and getting my own place - it really terrifies me. However, so did the thought of going to college in the first place. I know that God has a plan for us all, and life works out in mysterious ways. Ultimately, though, everything will be okay. I'm going to end this post with final notes of gratitude:
Here's to senior year!
XO, Jaimee
